Week 12 - A different kind of painting

It has been a bit of a busy week as I try to tie up loose ends at work and home before going to Spain for a week of sunshine! (next weeks post from the Iberian peninsula...)

So this week I did a different kind of painting: the new front door is primed and ready for a fancy colour when we get back!

Our old horrible aluminum door! Truly hideous!

Et viola: 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of undercoat later! Any votes on what colour we should go for?


And I also got a chance to do a bit of pottery. A few new tiles, which I forgot to photograph and then these pinch pots. I think they are going to be salt and pepper wells for the dining table.
