My first ceramics commission, glazed white letters!
They look pretty good I think and I delivered them to my friend Rachael before Christmas and she was pleased with them.
I have invested in another set of letter forms (these are larger) so next year I can experiment with making more letter forms, with different patterns and textures! I will of course post pictures!
And finally after what seemed like a really long time, the blob bowls have emerged!
I am really happy with both of them, the are sitting in the buffet display cabinet in the dining room! The quality is good and it was nice to make two of them - they can't be a fluke if you can repeat the process!
I might try a larger one next year, it is time to start planning those 2011 projects...
Hey Kate, Happy New Year - yes I loved them and so do the kids - Buddy is very proud of his B for Buddy and carries them around each day! Will be putting in another order in when I meet my new niece and get to know her name Love Rach x
